Japan

I have always had intrigue with Japan. There are multiple reasons: My neighbor when I was a kid was half Japanese and introduced me to Japanese Mecha toys. I took Judo and Goju Karate as kid. I have always loved Godzilla… As a young adult in the late 90s and being into cars, I fell in love with Japanese cars. 

These things lead me to visit Japan in 2001. It was so different back then. No translation apps, cellphone was regional and debt cards could only be used at international ATMs. 

I’ve learned so much from my travels to Japan and I am always impressed with everything there. I can’t get enough of it. 

So I’ve gone back many times. Often times, I don’t have interest in going any other place but Japan.
