Hiller Aviation Museum 7-24-21

It’s been a while since I was here. I believe when I was last here it was “Free Museum Day”. I’ve always passed this place as I used to live in Burlingame and often drive to San Mateo, San Carlos and San Jose.

Limited experience

It is pandemic and we came at the end of the day… so it was limited. The boys were able to try the drones, but that section closed for the day after them. 

Besides exploring the different planes and helicopters, it was was cool for them to see all the buttons and even use the simulators (the ones on the bottom floor) to land. 

As I said, kind of limited, even the simulators on the 2nd floor were closed.
