Nagoya – Aonami line
This is a small local line running from Nagoya station to Kinjo Futo. There are many stations in between the terminal stations, but the main use for foreigners is Kinjo Futo. Kinjo Futo is the access to Legoland Japan, SC Maglev railway museum and Port Messe Nagoya (where they hold car events among others).
I took this line to get to the SC Maglev Railway museum. It was about 25mins from Nagoya station to Kinjo Futo station. Kinjo Futo is very clean and has covered walkways leading to those aforementioned tourist spots.
Here are the stations mentioned

In order to completely change the image of the line as a freight railway and to be reborn as a passenger railway, a nickname was solicited from the public, and the “Aonami Line” was selected in November 2003.
The symbol mark is an abstract symbol of the “N” of Nagoya, with a wave and two rails as motifs, and represents a direct connection between the “port” and the “city center,” and a contribution to the development and revitalization of the port and the areas along the line. The two shades of blue in the symbol color represent the “blue of the sea” and the “blue of the sky,” respectively.
