Astram Line – Hiroshima
I’ve always made it a point to try and experience the different railways in Japan. In 2017, I took the Astram line. At the time, I didn’t fully understand it’s role and it was just another train to jump on.
Now that I am more intuned with taking trains and better understanding their roles with other companies, I try to do more research into the lines.
This past trip (4/2025) I took the tram from Shin-Hakushima station (shared with JR) to Johoku station (not that far, 2 stops away).
I was hoping that they offered an eki stamp, but they did not. I used my IC card to pay for the trip.
