Runyon Canyon Hike

Quick view

We decided to check this on July 4th morning. Jasmin has been wanting to go check this place out and do the hike.  We parked on Franklin (parking can be tough in the area as it is residential and a famous place to hike in LA). A couple blocks up hill and you will hit the entrance.

We took the Paved Fire trail uphill until we got the part where East trail connects and took that way to get back down.

It is great hike and tons of people are around. Water fountains are around and shade is minimal.

It was pretty much an uphill hike. Once you reach near the top, you can either go further into the residential area, which goes even higher or take the East trail, see Cloud’s Rest and Inspiration Point on the way back down to the entrance.
