I had already gotten stamps a few months earlier and even a couple days earlier on this trip. I was planning on getting a few more this day as well. My friends that I was suppose to meet up with had work to do, so they delayed our dinner. I decided to try and get some Osaka Metro stamps until that time.
I had already started using a notebook, but decided I wanted to have a dedicated book for Osaka Metro. When I was at Osaka station, I went to the book store there and bought this Campus notebook. I was trying to find something with no lines, but this was a nice option.
I then went to the Osaka Metro ticket counter and got a 1 day ticket (with evening discount) and even asked for a map. I started on the Midosuji line. I went to the newest part/northern extension, which is owned by Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway. While some of the stations (there is only a handful) the terminal station, Minoh-Kayano station did have one.
As I started going to Osaka Metro stations, I came across some stamp locations showing the different stamps you can collect on those specific lines. This was a cool visualization of the stations and their respective stamps. These displays weren’t everywhere though.
All of these stamps are from stations within the “Osaka Loop” on the map. There are a few that I will aim to get next time just to add more to this book.
