Malahat Skywalk
While planning out 11 day trip to Vancouver BC, it was noted to visit Vancouver Island again. We went a few years back, but only stayed in Victoria BC.
Jasmin found the Malahat Skywalk and it looked pretty cool. So we noted to do that. When we arrived to Vancouver Island, it was past 1:30pm and a nice day. So we charted to get to Malahat Skywalk.
Once we got there (40min drive), we followed an elevated wooden trail to the Spiral Skywalk. It was pretty cool to see.
It was a cool spiral structure. Around the structure were kid’s play structures, a “cafe” selling food and drinks, tables to enjoy and other fun photo op props such as a giant swing and lounge chairs with a view.
Long spiral going up and on a clear day, like we had, it was gorgeous!
On top, there is a netted area to walk on and yes, it can be kinda scary looking down. The other attraction was instead of going all the way down by walking, there was a spiral slide with staff on both ends and you get to use a blanket. Pretty fun!
This being wilderness, they had trails going around. Very nice and comfortable hike.
At this current time, it is $42 CAD for 1 adult. A nice tourist attraction for sure and glad we did it on that day because the next day it rained!
