El Matador Beach

Quick view

After resting at Zuma Beach for a couple hours, Jasmin wanted to check out El Matador Beach. It is another 15 minutes away. When we got there, I wasn’t sure where to park and waited on the road, but nobody was moving. The gate was partially closed and then I saw a car go down, so I followed suit.

There was limited spaces, paid parking lot.

We were only there for the photo opportunity and to check it out rather than staying there for a few hours. There were tons of people there and even towards sunset (which is GREAT), it was still busy.

Small decline trail, leading to stairs and then the beach. It was high tide when we were there and a lot of people on the beach.

We just wanted to get our family pictures and enjoy the scenery. Really cool spot and definitely must come back too.
