July 2024
I picked up another one of these small notebooks with “Tenka Fubu”, which was Oda Nobunaga’s plan. I felt these books offer a better stamping coverage due to the pages being bigger and blank.
I named this post with the Nagoya Subway, because Nagoya doesn’t really have eki stamps. JR Central discontinued them and when I asked subway stations, they said “no eki stamps”.
So when I found these stamps at a specific location, I was happy to get them and was a highlight.
- When I stopped by Sekigahara, I found the family crests of the clans that fought.
- 2 stamps from Seki’s Samurai sword museum… unfortunately, one bled through.
- Nagoya, not eki stamp friendly, but there are stamps around. I did the Nagoya Info center stamp rally (3 locations) with the 3 unifiers of Japan.
- I also started to do Osaka Metro eki stamps, but stopped as I got a dedicated book for that.
- I finished the book off with stamps I found at Traveler’s Notebook at Narita Airport.
