I flew from the Philippines to Kansai international airport.

Once I got my luggage, I immediately started to go to the train area. I asked to get the Rapi:t train, but they said it would be almost 45mins for the next train. I decided to take the Nankai Airport Express train that was leaving in 10mins.

Namba station

I arrived at Namba station and headed to one of the exits. Ishii-san, Tanaka-san and Inoue-san were meeting with me.

Kitchenware street

We walked around this area and looked at a lot of kitchenware stuff. They said anything you need for a kitchen was here.

Now that I know I want some stuff, I will return here again and buy things.

This was also in the direction of my place of stay.

Walking the back streets

Around big stations, you will find many back streets that have a lot of stores and food places. It is mesmerizing. We walked around thinking about food as my friends got off work and I had just arrived.

Picking up the Pocket Wifi

I never used a pocket wifi before, so this time I decided to try it. I asked my friend to locate the pocket wifi rental and we headed in that direction. I will say that Japan is just 3d in thinking. The shop was in a random building, on the 6th floor. Everything was unassuming. My comment is that when we look at google maps, it is typically flat. When my friend did his maps, he looked at it and found with floor the rental shop was at. Interesting!

Authentic Ramen

It’s been a couple of years, so I had to get some proper ramen. We went to a place that is pretty visible when walking around Den Den town

I wanted to see the Giant Lion head at Namba Jinja, so we went there.

End of the evening.

It was cool to hang with my brothers again! It has been too long since the pandemic happened.  Thank you brothers!
