This was an unplanned day (as I was originally suppose to fly in from Sapporo), so I tried to do a few things. I was definitely on a eki stamp mission, but also wanted to add the 2 towers that are part of the ‘All Japan Towers’, Tsutenkaku and Umeda Sky builiding.
I situationed myself near Shinsekai, another lively atmosphere similar to Dotonbori. Not far was Tsutenkaku tower.
I was excited to get this stamped and get up top. Unfortunately, there was a 70min wait time!!!
Since I am not patient, I decided to skip it for now and explore Shinsekai while it was active. I explored Shinsekai last year, but it was late at night.
After that, I decided to head to Osaka station.
Here I wanted to see if Umeda Sky Building wasn’t as busy. I visited here back in 2017 and really liked this tower. This time, it was for the All Japan Towers stamp.
On a clear night.. it is absolutely stunning!!
I had a good hour before I would call it a night, so I went around Osaka station (and it’s various extensions such as Umeda station) and collected some eki stamps.
By this time, my feet have developed blisters at the balls of the feet (big toe area). This would plague the rest of my trip.
