Wandering Leopard Day 4 Carshop Friend’s Hakone touring 2019
I wanted to break down the Hakone Touring just so people don’t get tired of looking at one post. Since I have context and write about it, I know some people don’t want to read and see pictures.
I woke up and breakfast like everyone else, I got my luggage and packed. Last time I did this, I missed the group photo. This time, I made sure I was in the group photo. There was a quick meeting to talk about the drive and where we were going. I was going to riding with Kuze-san (thank you brother!!).
There is always a participation gift involved and this time it was these M30 and Leopard Owner’s club towels.
The meeting was about the itinerary and locations that where would be stopping at and taking pictures. Also photographers were going ahead and were setting up at various check points to take pictures of us driving by.
Before we left, it was the opportunity to take pictures of all the cars.
We then started to drive.
The first leg started at the hotel and stopped by Ashinoko Skyline Rest House Lake view… it was kinda breathtaking!!!
This place is a small eatery. Selling local goods and souvenirs. I got the Ice Cream as they were known for.
he 3rd leg of the tour was from Ashinoko Skyline Toll booth to Izu Fruit Park where we would have lunch.
Hakone’s scenery is gorgeous, a lot of turns, mountainous, and tunnels.
Izu Fruit Park is a place where you can pick fruits, have some lunch and do some shopping. It is a tourist spot, so there were tons of buses pulling in.
The building has a nice view of Mt. Fuji!!!!
Kuze-san and I arrived and we all went upstairs of the building.
It was time to lunch. I was thinking since it was a fruit park, we would get fruit salad.. I guessed wrong! LOL.
After eating, I think we had 30 to 45 minutes to look around.
Took some nice shots before we started to head to the last spot, Atami Beach line
The last part of the tour, was going to Atami beach line. This is where Kuze-san and I would break off the group. While the group headed back to Forest Hakone hotel,
Kuze-san would drop me off at Atami station and he would go pick his daughter at his parent’s house.
It was a much longer ride here, with more uphill and eventually going into Atami’s downtown area.
We would go along the coast and park at this off the shoulder parking area.
When we arrived, we said our goodbyes. I only know a few people here, so I took pictures with them. I didn’t know the model, but she was gorgeous!
