Fremont Troll
It was a difficult time as we were preparing to bury my dad. While we were getting everything ready and waiting for other processes to get finished up (military burial, coroner’s exam, military benefits, transport of his body…etc) I didn’t want it to be totally sad. To somewhat escape, we went around Seattle with family. We were in the area, so I went to these places that I haven’t seen in YEARS or have never been.
One of the things we did was the Fremont troll. Under the Fremont bridge, just across Downtown Seattle, you can find this statue.
Again, to just have a few hours away from the stress was amazing.
